Although Robby grew up in Louisiana, he has adopted Louisville, Ky., as his hometown. Likewise, the Derby City has fallen in love with its now native son. With the backdrop set, Robby embarked on an exciting new venture in helping create the Robby Albarado Foundation.

In late 2007, close friends Gary Demling and Bob Bender Jr. collaborated with Robby after a friendly round of golf between the three men with ideas on how to carve his passion -- as well as theirs -- into Louisville’s landscape. Preliminary talks began to form the Foundation.

Now a 501(c)(3) charity, the Robby Albarado Foundation continues its mission to improve and enrich the lives of young people through personal involvement, volunteerism and financial support.

All involved in the Foundation share the same passion to make a difference and welcome all to embrace the mission and support this great venture.
